The media admissions policy for The Holden Arboretum enables working media to become familiar with Holden’s grounds and special events and, at the same time, enjoy a day with family or friends. This courtesy is extended to active, credentialed members of the news media only, (not including management, office, sales or retired personnel.) Complimentary admission is available to working media in the following categories:
Publishers, editors, reporters, writers, photographers
Station managers, news directors, public affairs directors, assignment editors, producers (news/feature), on-air personnel, photographers, program directors
Complimentary admission is provided to freelance writers and producers with written confirmation from the assigning news outlet. A maximum of six complimentary tickets will be granted to qualifying personnel. The qualifying media representative must arrange for tickets in advance and show a media credential upon arrival to Holden. Complimentary media admissions may not apply to certain events, classes, and tours unless specific arrangements have been made.
Arrangements for tickets are made by calling David Desimone, director of guest relations and communications, at 440-602-8017 or by e-mail at ddesimone@holdenarb.org. We request at least 48 hours advance notice for media admissions. Please note: The Marketing Department is closed on weekends and holidays. Office hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Please make all requests during the week (Monday – Friday). Your request should include:
Once your request is received, you will receive a phone call or e-mail confirming your visit.

name. You will be asked to show identification (media credential or your company business card) when you enter Holden.
News media on assignment must request interviews and photo sessions in advance with David Desimone, director of guest relations and communications, at 440-602-8017. This will ensure that appropriate personnel will be available on the day of the visit. All media on assignment must arrive at the Warren H. Corning Visitor Center, unless otherwise noted, and be accompanied by a member of the Marketing Department during their visit.
