Bring your Boy and Girl Scout group out and celebrate Arbor Day. Receive free admission and take part in lots of kid friendly activities including scavenger hunts, tree climbing, free tree seedlings and crafts. You'll learn a lot and help make the world a greener place.

Come to the Holden Arboretum to take a bug hike. Discover new facts about bugs while you look for them in different habitats and catch them to take a closer look. What better way to learn? Girls will earn their badge to take with them at the end of the program.

Visit The Holden Arboretum to learn what it takes to grow a garden. Hike in our various gardens and learn about how different plants grow different ways. Set up your own seed experiment. Plant your own garden to take home. What better place to learn about gardens than in one? Girls will earn their badge to take with them at the end of the program.

What better place to learn about trees than at an arboretum? This indoor/outdoor program will show you how cool trees are. You’ll make a leaf press and discover how trees function through fun, guided activities. Your troop will also be able to take home a tree that your troop can plant in your community. Girls will earn their badge to take with them at the end of the program.

What better place to learn about plants than at an arboretum? This indoor/outdoor program will show you that plants are
the coolest things around. Tigers complete Lets Go Outdoors Achievement 5d, 5g and elective 30 – Plant a Seed. Wolves complete the Grow Something electives 15c and e.

Study a forest in a forest. Learn how trees grow, how to identify them, how to tell their age and how animals use them.
Scouts will complete the Forester Badge.
