Free Plant Science Mondays

On Mondays, starting Sept. 1 and running through June 15 schools can come to Holden and participate in a program free of charge. This offer only extends to the following programs:
- Discover Plants from Top to Bottom (K-Grade 1)
- Interdependence: Links Between Plants and Animals (Grades 2-3)
- Life Cycles of Plants (Grade 4)
- Forest Ecosystems: Food Chains in Action (Grade 5)
- Forest Biodiversity: Alien Threats (Grades 6-8)

Starting Nov. 1 and running through March 30 schools can have a Holden outreach program come to their schools for $50 per session. This price applies to the outreach programs listed below.
- Plant Science Investigators (Grade 2)
- Changing Forests (Grade 4)
Schools must pre-register by calling the Education Department at 440.602.3833. There is a limit to the number of tours per day and they will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Don't miss this opportunity to expose your students to the fabulous world of plants. |
