Ohio’s hemlocks are facing a new threat, the woolly adelgid. This non-native insect has already killed millions of hemlocks from Maine to northeastern Georgia. Learn how to protect native hemlocks during this program, which will cover the importance of hemlock trees in Ohio, woolly adelgid biology and control options for property owners. This program is being offered in partnership with the Nature Conservancy, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Forestry and Ohio State University.
