Description

Join photographer and writer Ian Adams, author of A Photographer's Guide to Ohio and 18 other photography books, for an in-depth, weekend workshop designed to help beginners and intermediate photographers take beautiful landscape and close-up photographs of Ohio’s most picturesque places with your digital point-and-shoot or SLR camera. You’ll learn the most important digital camera features and settings, how to take sharp, well-composed pictures, the best lighting for scenic and close-up photography, and tips for finding and photographing Ohio’s best scenic vistas, natural areas, waterfalls, public gardens, historic barns and bridges, rural areas, landmark buildings and town murals. Join Adams for a photo shoot in the gardens and woodlands at Holden, a review/critique of your photos, and tips for fine-tuning and sharing your digital photos, using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. See the detailed agenda for the program.
