Nature Explorer Camp

Description Have you ever explored deep into the woods? Searched under logs and rocks for creepy crawlers? Wondered where chipmunks, foxes, and birds live? The Holden Arboretum is a great place to explore and learn about some of nature’s coolest things. We'll create nature crafts, play animal games, and lead an expedition through Holden’s forests, gardens, and ponds.  Wear appropriate clothes for hiking through water and mud.  Bring a lunch, snack and drinks every day.  Space is limited. Drop-off and pick-up will take place at The Holden Arboretum.

Description Have you ever wondered what you need to do to survive in the wilderness? Or do you just love outdoor adventures? Prepare for a week long journey through the Holden Arboretum’s grounds and natural areas and learn to live off the land. One day we will visit the Cleveland Botanical Garden and take an expedition through the Costa Rican neo tropical rainforest and the spiny desert of Madagascar, discovering different survival skills for these extreme locations. Wear appropriate clothes for hiking through water and mud.  Bring a lunch, snack and drinks every day. Space is limited. Drop-off and pick-up will take place at The Holden Arboretum.
