Tuesdays, June 17 through Aug. 5
Holden's summer concert series returns, showcasing local bands performing in our beautiful gardens.
The series will start on Tuesday, June 17 and continue every Tuesday through Aug. 5. All concerts will start at 7pm. Concerts are free for members and included with a $5 after 5pm admission charge for nonmembers. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Holden will be working with a caterer to provide a selection of food for purchase at each concert, or guests may choose to bring a picnic. Menus for each concert will be posted on this page before each performance.
Please note, due to the requirements of Holden's liquor license, no alcoholic beverages of any type may be brought on to the grounds by visitors. Holden will provide a cash bar with beer, wine and soft drinks each week.
In the event of rain, these concerts will be held in the Corning Visitor Center.
The Holden Arboretum is seeking local bands for its 2014 annual summer concert series. These concerts are designed to promote awareness of The Holden Arboretum while providing local bands with the opportunity to showcase their musical talent in a beautiful outdoor setting. Bands are responsible for their own sound and public address equipment. Holden will provide electrical services.
Bands selected will be paid $400 upon completion of the performance. All musical genres are welcome. The deadline for applications is March 1. Bands will be notified in early April.
