Celebrate Summer in Silk

Capture summer’s cool shades of green and intense flower color in hand painted silk using dyes that flow like water color.  Make two silks, either 12” x 60” or 26”square. Advance students can make one large silk. No experience necessary.

Enjoy a late summer afternoon nature hike with your dog.  In addition learn how to identify some trees in the woods and gardens. We will finish with a potluck dinner in the Holden Shelter House. This is a moderate hike, wear appropriate shoes. Please bring a dish to share.
