Gossamer Wings: Photographing Butterflies and Dragonflies

Join Ohio photographer Ian Adams to observe, identify, and photograph dragonflies, damselflies and butterflies. The classroom session will advise about field guides and close-focusing binoculars and teach you how to identify and photograph them.  After lunch, you will visit several on-site areas to photograph these beautiful insects.  A follow-up session will be held on July 21 from 7 - 9pm to share and discuss your photos taken during the workshop.

Celebrate Summer in Silk

Capture summer’s cool shades of green and intense flower color in hand painted silk using dyes that flow like water color.  Make two silks, either 12” x 60” or 26” square. Advance students can make one large silk. No experience necessary.
