- nonmember tickets for Canopy Walk & Emergent Tower $4/adults, $2/children

Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1: Nonmember discount admission $10 per car OR

$20 per car for combo admission and Canopy Walk/Emergent Tower tickets, while supplies last

     

 

 

Come join the nationally-celebrated observance that encourages tree planting and care.  Family fun and activities, including opportunities to talk with certified Tree Service Professionals.  Free tree seedling give-away while supplies last.  

 

 

Arbor Day Lecture: "Out on a Limb - Exploration of Global Forest Canopies"

Friday, April 29, 7pm

Dr. Meg Lowman, chief of science and sustainability at the California Academy of Sciences. Lowman is internationally known for her tree canopy research and is the author of Life in the Treetops. The lecture is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

 

 

Family-friendly activities between 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday:

  • Kids guided tree climbing
  • Crafts and activities
  • Great Lakes Timber Show (10:30am; 12:30pm; 2:30pm)
  • Tree Discovery Packs
  • Portable Sawmill Demonstrations
  • Character presentations by Johnny Appleseed (Sat. & Sun.) and John Muir (Sun. only)

 

Cash food/beverage concessions available onsite.
