The Holden Arboretum strives to foster a deeper understanding of the natural world and the impact of plants on our lives. Education staff has created numerous opportunities to further this understanding for both children and adults through our formalized pre-k through college programs and through our specialized classes, immersive tours and informative lectures. This year try a class or two to learn more about plants, ecosystems, sustainable gardening practices and the impact plants have on our lives. There are even programs for your artistic, healthful and adventurous side. Browse our list of quarterly classes and register online or call 440.602.3833. Be sure to check out our online calendar as well to view daily activities.
There are many fun, self-guided opportunities for people of all ages to connect with plants and the environment. Children ages 3 to 7 will especially enjoy the Habitat Hut from which they can easily explore four distinct habitats while Buckeye Bud’s Adventure Woods is a great place for families to let off a little steam, create and play. For those who want to learn a little more cell phone tours, discovery packs and interpreted gardens and features await your discovery.
