Members' Pancake Supper/Breakfast

Celebrate the start of Spring with one of Holden's sweetest traditions. Relax over a pancake supper and explore the grounds on a guided hike. Or, join us for breakfast and check out the view from the top of the Kalberer Family Emergent Tower, which will only be open to breakfast guests before it officially opens on April 1.

Arbor Day: Celebration of Trees!

Celebrate the annual observance of the role of trees in our lives. We'll offer a variety of family activities including the return of the Great Lakes Timber Show, free consulting with Tree Service Professionals regarding any of your tree challenges or planning, kids crafts and activities, and more. Free tree seedling give-away while supplies last.

Plant Sale

Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15 Open to public 10am - 4pm

 

Our Plant Sale focuses on the diversity of plants available for purchase, including trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, herbs, and garden accessories, provided by select area nurseries and gardens. We'll also feature our customer-favorite Holden propagated wildflowers. A portion of each sale supports The Holden Arboretum.

Bouquets Wine Tasting

Saturday, May 28 5 - 7:30pm

Reservations required and open April 15

 

Enjoy an evening of sampling a variety of international, domestic and regional wines, tasty accompaniments and live music.   Take in the sights, sounds, tastes and smells in one of the Holden’s beautiful display gardens. Must be 21 or older to attend. Limited to first 350 reservations; this event is always a sell-out so make your plans early!

Woodland 5K Run/Walk

Sunday, June 19

Onsite Registration: 7:30am

Race Start: 8:30am

 

Run or walk 3.1 miles on well-groomed, smooth trails through gardens, meadows and forests. Twelve age groups, with trophies presented to top three male and female runners in each group, as well as the overall top three male and female runners.
