Nature Play Facilitator

 

 

Time:

June - September

Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon shifts available

Place: Warren H. Corning Visitor Center and Buckeye Bud's Adventure Woods
Training:

One-on-one with supervisor

 

 

Spend your mornings or afternoons at Holden engaging children and their families in nature play at Buckeye Bud's Adventure Woods or with the activities featured on our Discovery Cart. In addition, volunteers may assist with collecting necessary natural materials for education programming or help straighten up Buckeye Bud's area.

 

Requirements

  • Fun and positive attitude
  • Interest in working with people
  • Moderate physical ability to lift 10-15 pounds and set-up activities
  • New volunteer orientation
  • Nature Play Facilitator training (two hours)
