Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve is regarded as one of Northeast Ohio’s best places to observe spring ephemeral wildflowers. White and red trilliums, black and white warblers, bluebells and blue birds are all part a spring morning at Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve near Garrettsville. We’ll walk the narrow trails past the beaver marsh, through the pawpaw grove to the blanket of white trilliums that covers the forest floor. Hike is two miles on rolling trails with some off-trail that may be muddy. No restrooms.
