This is a three-session series, meeting on June 6, 20 and July 11.
Take a break from the hectic pace of everyday life to experience the benefits of mindfulness practice in connection with nature. This three-session program will involve mindfulness and sensory engagement activities in the natural areas throughout the Arboretum. Participants will develop a deeper connection to nature and themselves and learn new tools to reduce stress and improve well-being. Comfort with hiking 1 -2 miles on unpaved trails is necessary. Be prepared for getting “up close” to nature, including sitting on the ground, getting hands dirty and hiking in the rain.
